R.I.P Holden Australia

It was a sad day yesterday 11/12/2013 when GM announced the inevitable closure of Holden Australia, I look back at my youth at this brutal equipment,, the real steel, the real cars  ive owned in my past and still do, however  it seems an eon ago. There really is nothing quite like open highway with windows down in something like this,,it was part of being a bloke,,,part of being Australian..  No matter  what the reason,,,no matter what the names they call it,,  standard global platforms, global trade,,no matter what the money we have sold our soul on what was a true Australian icon name and product. R.I.P Holden replaced by an  i-phone, labelled sandshoes, supplements and a Korean car with people to busy to take any notice. Pete 2013
